How to do it

  1. 1

Paint a few toilet paper rolls black and white in alternating bands.

  2. 2

Draw a zebra's face on cardboard and glue it onto one of the rolls.

  3. 3

Have the kid stack the rolls so the black-and-white pattern lines up like a real zebra.

Tips & extensions

Show a real zebra image alongside so the kid can study the pattern while building.
