Simply Play

Two-Hand Movement Challenge

Kids try to do two completely different movements with each hand at the same time. Simple to set up and impossible not to laugh at.

🧒 Ages 3-5, 6-8, 9-12⏱ 10 min

How to do it

  1. 1

Show kids a pair of movements, one for each hand — like patting the top of your head with one hand and rubbing your belly with the other.

  2. 2

Let each person try for 10 seconds. Harder than it looks.

  3. 3

Take turns calling out new movement combos and see who can do it.

Tips & extensions

Start with easy combos (clap one hand, wave the other) and work up to harder ones.
