How to do it

  1. 1

Dip a plastic fork into red paint and stamp it repeatedly in a circular pattern to create the lion's mane, working around the outside of where the face will be.

  2. 2

Dip a round sponge into yellow/orange paint and press it firmly in the center of the mane to create the lion's face.

  3. 3

Cut small circles and curved shapes from black paper for eyes, nose, and eyebrows, then glue or press them onto the sponge-painted face.

  4. 4

Use a black marker to add a mouth and any additional details to complete the lion's expression.

Tips & extensions

Load the fork with a generous amount of paint and stamp at different angles around the circle to get a full, spiky mane effect.
