4th of July Hanging Streamers

Toilet paper rolls turned into red, white, and blue streamers you can string across a doorway or porch.

🧒 Ages 6-8, 9-12⏱ 45 min

How to do it

  1. 1

Paint several toilet paper rolls blue and let them dry.

  2. 2

Cut white paper stars and glue them around each blue roll.

  3. 3

Cut white and red strips from tissue paper or thin plastic.

  4. 4

Glue a ring of strips to the inside bottom edge of each roll so they trail like streamers.

  5. 5

Thread string through the top of each roll and connect them into a hanging garland.

Tips & extensions

Punch the string holes with a hole punch first so the rolls don't tear when you hang them.
