3D American Flag Maze

A pom-pom maze styled like a tiny American flag. Equal parts engineering and Fourth of July craft.

🧒 Ages 6-8, 9-12⏱ 45 min

How to do it

  1. 1

Cut a piece of cardboard for the base of the maze.

  2. 2

Cut cardboard strips about two inches wide and hot-glue them to the base in a maze layout.

  3. 3

Paint the maze with red and white stripes, and add white stars on a small blue corner.

  4. 4

Place a pom-pom at the start, then guide it through the maze to the finish.

Tips & extensions

Sketch the maze layout in pencil before gluing so the path stays fun without dead ends.
